The Hundred Dresses: Day 43
This is one more simplicity 5723 (I published it earlier, with horrible pictures):
Despite truly liking 1) this pattern as well as 2) eco-friendly denim I’ve been a bit “meh” on this dress. Although one of the things I like about sewing with denim is exactly how it whitens at the edges with wear:
Here’s the zip, which is truly not good. I must re-do it, however I’d have to renovate the seam on the other side to get the simplicity to repair it, as well as … well, it hasn’t made the top of the to-do listing yet. (It hasn’t really gotten ON the to-do listing yet.)
My preferred part of this gown is the camouflage pocket linings:
I was going to make camo bias tape for the sleeve completing as well, but, um, I didn’t.
Here’s the back view, which, according to the rest of the type of lick-and-a-promise I provided this dress, didn’t get settled on the gown type properly.
I can’t believe we’re this far into the the hundred gowns articles … getting close to halfway! as well as thanks to you all, The Hundred gowns book is doing nicely, as well — some extremely kind evaluations on Amazon and Goodreads.
